Reminder to parents of Kindergartners, 7th graders and Seniors for 2021-2022 School Year Kindergartners: Please send or bring in an updated immunization record from your health care provider for the required immunizations prior to the first day of school as well as a certified birth certificate for the office to copy, if you have not done so already. 7th Graders: The Ohio Department of Health requires the Tdap and Meningitis vaccine prior to entry into 7th grade. Please provide documentation from your health care provider in order to pick up your 2021-2022 schedule. Seniors: The Ohio Department of Health requires the Meningitis vaccine prior to entry into 12th grade. Please provide documentation from your health care provider in order to pick up your 2021-2022 schedule. * Note that according to the Ohio Revised Code 3313.671, proof of immunizations are required or no pupil shall remain in school more than fourteen days. To avoid exclusion, please provide proper documentation no later than September 20, 2021 of the 2021-2022 school year.

Elementary yearbooks are in!!! They may be picked up Wednesday, 6/2 from 9:00-3:00 or 4:30-5:30 or Thursday, 6/3 from 9:00-3:00 in the elementary office. Any yearbooks not picked up will be distributed to your child in the fall.

Dear Riverdale Parents, Hancock Public Health will be hosting a COVID vaccination clinic on Tuesday, May 25 from 3:30 to 6:30 pm at the Hancock County Fairgrounds Old Millstream Building. This clinic will be offering the Pfizer vaccine to eligible persons ages 12 and up. Any person under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive vaccination, and parents must bring their ID. Eligible household members who are interested are also encouraged to schedule an appointment to receive the vaccine, if they have not already. No children under age 12 will be allowed in the clinic. Please ensure no other vaccinations are given in the 14 days prior to and after receiving the COVID vaccine. The National Robotics Challenge was held Saturday in Marion, OH, in which teams competed in different robot contests. Schools from all over the nation competed at this competition. The Riverdale Robotics team of Brekken Rall and Mike Galkiewicz won 1st place in combat robot. The Riverdale Robotics team of Shawn Tackett and Weston Reed won 7th in combat robot. The Riverdale Robotics team of Jackson Clark, Ben Schlarb, Robbie Digby, Trevor Hattery, and Isaac Holland won 6th in the robo hockey challenge. Congratulations to all our students who participated and their teacher Mr. Brown.
